Leadership
James Berwick
Chief Executive Officer
James leads ELDICO as CEO, setting strategy and steering commercial and operational execution. He joined from scientific-instrument and deep-tech businesses, including LS Instruments and Nanosurf, and works from the company's Basel-area base.
Rolf Burgmer
Chief Technology Officer
Rolf is ELDICO's CTO, responsible for R&D, software and production. He brings around two decades leading cross-functional development and manufacturing in regulated medical-device and particle-accelerator technologies, and oversees the engineering behind the ED-1.
Jürg Keller
Chief Financial Officer
Jürg Keller is ELDICO's CFO, responsible for finance, cash-flow planning and financial operations as the company scales its instrument and CRO business.

Danny Stam
Head of Commercial
Danny heads ELDICO's commercial organisation, leading sales of the ED-1 and the CRO structural-elucidation service. He is a frequent point of contact for pharmaceutical and materials customers and co-authors applied electron-diffraction case studies.
Eddy Martin
Sales Manager
Eddy supports customers evaluating the ED-1 and ELDICO's structural-elucidation services, from first enquiry through to project scope.
Gustavo Santiso-Quinones
Founder & Senior Scientist
A founder of ELDICO and a crystallographer (FU Berlin, EPFL, RWTH Aachen, ETH Zurich), Gustavo helps customers scope electron-diffraction projects and interpret results, and previously co-founded the analytics venture Crystallise!.
Daniel Hartman
Head of Marketing
Daniel is an experienced marketer with a strong business-administration background, driving ELDICO's brand and go-to-market and pairing behavioural psychology with an evidence-led approach. He also leads the company's AI strategy.
Science
Christian Jandl
Head of Science & Applications
Dr. Christian Jandl leads ELDICO's science and applications work, including the CRO service. He holds a PhD in chemistry from TU Munich, specialises in X-ray and electron crystallography, and translates customer problems into structure solutions on the ED-1.
Gunther Steinfeld
Founder & Principal Scientist
Dr. Gunther Steinfeld is a founder and principal scientist/engineer, working on the diffractometer, device development and installations from the Basel site. He holds a PhD in chemistry (Freiburg) and over two decades in crystallography.
Giorgia Fiorini
Application Scientist
Dr. Giorgia Fiorini supports customer measurements and structure determination on the ED-1 and contributes to ELDICO's scientific content and video. She holds a master's in organic chemistry (Sapienza, Rome), with research experience at PSI and the University of Oxford.
