Field Service & Systems Engineer – Electron Diffraction Systems (m/f/d)

ELDICO Scientific builds dedicated electron diffractometers for crystal-structure determination. We're looking for a hands-on engineer to install, commission, maintain and support ED-1 systems at customer sites worldwide.
What you'll do
- Install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot ED-1 systems at customer locations worldwide
- Be a technical point of contact and build strong customer relationships
- Develop service tooling, spare-parts handling and documentation
- Help build out our after-sales infrastructure, including ticketing and support processes
- Work closely with our R&D and Quality Management teams
What you bring
- A background in mechatronics, engineering, physics or a related technical field
- An independent, solution-oriented approach and strong, customer-focused communication
- Fluent English (German a plus) and willingness to travel internationally
- Nice to have: vacuum technology, electron-beam or positioning systems, scientific-instrumentation experience, Radiation Safety Officer certification, or Python / MATLAB
